Terra da Barolo
The “Terre del Barolo“ winery ‘s distinguished range of products is sold throughout Italy and on most foreign markets.
A group of 22 producers founded “Terre del Barolo” on the 8 of December 1958. Actually all members are 500, all owner of about 800 hectares in the area of Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga, Monforte, Diano d’Alba, Barolo’, Novello, La Morra, Verduno, Roddi, and Castiglione Falletto.
The wine making of these grapes, about 45.000 q. totally, is organized with traditional methods but with very modern technologies. Grapes are selected on the growing area and vineyards and on the quality and the total production is 30.000 hl.
The most important wines are Barolo docg, Nebbiolo d’Alba doc, Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba doc and Barbera doc. “Terre di Barolo” considers the direct contact with people and the testing in his farmhouse as the best way to make the wine is known and to have a good relation with consumers, so the place is open to visitors and tourists.
